Parendi is a personal finance app for the Mac. Export a statement from your bank, drop it in, and every transaction is sorted into a category. From that it shows your savings rate, spending by category, fixed costs, net worth, a FIRE number and a cash flow diagram for any year or month.
- Imports camt.053 and OFX/QFX without any column mapping, CSV and Excel with one mapping per header row that it remembers.
- Categories in a fixed order: your earlier decisions, your own keyword rules, transfers between your own accounts, and only then a suggestion from Apple Intelligence on the device.
- Credit cards are counted once: the payment of the card bill is recognised as a transfer.
- Assets have a kind: free, locked (like pension savings) or never withdrawn (like the home you live in). Net worth shows all of it, the FIRE number leaves out what you will never live off.
- The cash flow diagram shows a year or a month, with fixed costs as a step of their own.
- Eleven countries get a starter template with local merchants and pension products, every other country a neutral one. Currency and number format come from your Mac.
- No network access at all: the app ships without the network entitlement. No account, no bank login, no cloud, no tracking. Your data stays in one file on your Mac.
- Seven languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese.
- Free to download, with a 30-day trial that starts at your first import and can be extended once. After that the app turns read-only instead of locking your data away. The full version is a one-time purchase, no subscription.
